Why did Mujib ur rehman and Awami league demanded six points?? (7)

CREATION OF BANGLADESH
Q  Mujib ur Rehman gave his 6 points in 1966. He gave his 6 points because of several reasons. (L1 and L2 )  Firstly, Mujib wanted directly elected government as this would ensure the proper governmental representation of East Pakistan because of their population strength. This would break the dominance of the West Pakistani politicians and improve the political conditions of East Pakistan. That's why Mujib gave his six points. Secondly, the Economic policies of Ayub khan and the development of industries we're in west Pakistan. Indus water treaty and Karachi oil refinery we're made in West Pakistan. Moreover, the income of the jute plant in east Pakistan was spent in west Pakistan. As a result of this Mujeb gave his six points.  Thirdly, Mujeeb wanted to ensure provincial power.Mujeeb believed that a great degree of provincial, fiscal autonomy we're what East Pakistan wanted so he made them the main demand of his party and gather support .so because of this he gave 6 points
